Every day seems to be fraught with new decisions. I am asked to do things, say things, think about things for which I have no immediate answer. It's hard to find a Bible verse that gives you an immediate, "slam dunk" answer. How do you make decisions when the path is not clear and the way seems clouded with "baggage" ? Who is adequate for these things ?
Here are some filters through which we normally view life:
1. Is this what I always thought would happen ?
2. does this make sense to me ?
3. is this fair ?
I would rather think about this:
1. Does this glorify God ?
2. Are God's purposes accomplished on the earth ?
It seems like if you really want to live the way Jesus lived, you will get beat up.
